In 1999, Associated Air Center (AAC) performed its first VIP completion on a Boeing Business Jet (BBJ) for the Miami Dolphins. While AAC has performed completions on the entire range of Boeing narrow body and wide body aircraft, from the 707 through the 747, our relationship with Boeing Business Jet has been a particularly fruitful one. More than 20 have been transformed in our hangars at Dallas Love Field, and AAC is a designated Boeing 737 Business Jet Completions Center.
Not long after that first BBJ, Associated delivered its first completion of an Airbus Corporate Jet (ACJ). Since then, we’ve gone on to outfit over 15 ACJs for clients such as the Royal Thai Air Force, the Brazilian government and Pharmair of the US, and we are also a designated Airbus Industries A-319 Corporate Jet Completions center.
Receiving these designations means that we have earned the highest endorsement from the manufacturers of these prestigious aircraft, and you’re assured of an unmatched level of experience in design, fabrication and installation of custom cabin and cockpit completions.
In addition, we have become one of the world leaders in providing maintenance to BBJs and ACJs. Few completion centers have the extensive MRO capabilities that are available at AAC. By the same token, there simply aren’t any maintenance facilities that have our expertise at disassembling and reassembling custom interiors when it’s called for as part of the service event.
Supplemental Type Certificates. Over the years, Associated Air Center has earned hundreds of Supplemental Type Certificates (STCs) for its interior modifications and completions. No completion center has more than our 16 STCs for Boeing Business Jets, and we have five more in house right now. We also have 9 STCs for Airbus Corporate Jets, and are currently at work on two more.
